Well what mad week that's been and we now have to put the store back together.
Met loads of customers old and new and the response has been seriously good.
I don't like to 'big up' or state how wonderful everything is when its not the case. I very much believe in being honest with the results when you take the risk on such an event.
So my thoughts??? It was everything we could have asked for, will we do this again.....the plans are already in place so unless I get run over by a bus or no one visits Cariad for a whole year the answer is we will go for a full weekend and have even more for you plus improve. Let's work together to keep this event in Wales.
We need your support so keep your diaries free toward end of summer again.
Thank you to all that came and all that messaged us when other engagements held them up like getting married!!!
It is official that the Drum Fair was the biggest event at Redhouse to date and it allowed so many to Merthyr in a different light to the bad press it gets.
People travelled from London, Midlands, Devon and even as far as Cornwall so for our first year we cannot ask for more.
That's why I say we could not have asked for more.
I personally thank all the customers that support us, the drummers for doing the clinics, the manufacturers for coming to Wales and our staff which was Gary and my girls!....plus of course Redhouse staff and the best man, Paul Williams who worked night and day with us.
Thank you all again and see you soon, the kettle is on!
Now let's play some music. Tittle seems appropriate!
